SCRUBS FOR EPSOM & ST. HELIER
Liz Taylor
I joined the scrubs group later than most, after losing my Dad during the pandemic. I started off making humble scrubs bags which I loved, then shot into the fast lane when the group was asked to make 300 fabric face coverings.
There followed a brief scramble to get organised, during which I turned my dining room into a makeshift office, then several hundred face coverings flowed into my home and back out again, to hospice staff and to the elderly and vulnerable. A job well done, and I’m proud to have played a small part in it.
