SCRUBS FOR EPSOM & ST. HELIER
Alex & Daughters
Being part of the admin group running the scrubs project was a lot of work and a lot of fun. It was a steep learning curve but we had a fantastic group of people. I was glad I could do something to help in such a difficult time.
My family got involved too. Mum made gowns from spare bedding and curtains. Dad cut out the paper patterns. The children, here beautifully modelling Mum’s gowns, tie-dyed some scrub bags as well as using fabric markers to decorate more bags and button head bands.
Alex posted total updates every so often on the group Facebook page, here’s the latest one for 23rd December 2020 - We are now at 2350 scrubs, 1150 gowns, 200 tabards, 4000 bags, 5500 headbands/mask adaptors, and 2500 caps.
