I joined the group as I wanted to contribute back to the community during lockdown in a positive and useful way.
I knew I would be working full time throughout and I couldn't volunteer fixed hours. Helping in the scrubs group meant I could do things flexibly whilst using my hobby. I sewed in the evenings once the kids had gone to bed.
I am so pleased I joined the group, it has been a source of positivity throughout lockdown. The admin team are superb, the operations are so well organised and they really care about what we are doing.
